This collection of Rolling Stones Photos has been rediscovered 30 years on.

The original images still have the power to draw people in, capturing the raw energy of the Rolling Stones at their live best and the feverish atmosphere of those Earls Court concerts.

Nobby Clark has been a photographer for forty years, during which time he has photographed Bob Dylan, The Who, Elton John and Bruce Springsteen. He has photographed productions for major British theatre, opera and ballet companies, as well as West End musicals and for television.

From Nobby's introduction to the book:

'Noise, noise, lights are flashing, the crowd is jumping, waving, screaming. Beams of light are searching through the crowd. They are all about to hit the roof.

A security guy comes up to me and says there’s something wrong with my pass. I’m covered in bloody passes, what’s the problem?

He’s going to throw me out, and I can’t hear what he’s saying because of the noise.

“I’m from the Observer newspaper.” I shout. “Get the right fucking pass,” he replies.

Suddenly, it dawns on me, I’m on my way out WITHOUT photographing the greatest rock band in the world.'
